Our First Day of 2009-2010 School Year
















We started with our Bible time-studying diligence this week. Then it was on to math, phonics, spelling, and language lessons. And, finally......Five in a Row! Over the next two weeks we'll be reading The Story of Ferdinand and taking a "tour" of Spain. We had a great first day and we're looking forward to the rest of our school year.

I'm an Army Mom


Well, it's official. My 17 year-old son is enlisted with the Army. He's in the delayed entry program, which means that he'll go to basic training in July of 2010, two months after he graduates from high school. My husband and I signed the consent forms. I'm so proud of him, but scared, too. I may need lots of reminders from all of my friends that God will watch over and protect my son when he'll be so far away from me. PSALM 139
