Well, it's official. My 17 year-old son is enlisted with the Army. He's in the delayed entry program, which means that he'll go to basic training in July of 2010, two months after he graduates from high school. My husband and I signed the consent forms. I'm so proud of him, but scared, too. I may need lots of reminders from all of my friends that God will watch over and protect my son when he'll be so far away from me. PSALM 139
