I think we're starting to settle into our new lives as a family of six. There's still lots of housework that goes undone, still laundry that never seems to end, still tired eyes and a few emotional moments here and there, still taking baby steps back into our homeschool routine, still lots of upcoming doctor's appointments and tests for Rinnah, still times when I wonder if I'm equipped for all of this.....but I know I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Even in the chaos, there's peace. Even in the struggles, there's joy. Sometimes it still feels surreal: we finally have our daughter home with us. I look back on all the paperwork, all the waiting, all the wondering and it amazes me how it seemed to drag so slowly yet pass by so quickly. We've been home for 16 days now, and I still can't believe how blessed I am. It all feels like a dream at times...well except for the laundry-that's more like a nightmare!

I love Rinnah's smile in the first photo! We aren't even getting through the laundry as a new family of three. You have many more excuses than we do. :) And you have such a beautiful family!
Thanks! :) The laundry is a killer isn't it? Maybe we'll catch up one day.
Those pictures of Rinnah make me so happy. Hang in there. The new normal is wonderful but exhausting!
Thanks, Raina. It truly is as you said!
