I just finished reading this book, and I'm so mad!!! I don't like the way it ended...AT ALL!!! My oldest finished it last week (he's 16.) He didn't like the ending either, but he's laughing at me b/c I'm so worked up about it. Now, I know that it ended the only way it could-it had to end that way so that the necessary point was not lost and so that the reader was truly impacted by it. Still, I like happy endings, and it wasn't. It is a great book, though, & I highly recommend it.
